PROCEDURE

Snap on Denture

Your treatment will be divided in two phases, making it two different trips to Prime Advanced Dentistry

First Trip. Surgery

1

Initial assessment and treatment explanation

Through a series of non-invasive tests and an evaluation, our specialists will determine your current dental health and what treatment options are available to you.

2

Surgical procedure

Once our specialist has explained the treatment that is best for you and you have both agreed to it, we will proceed with your surgery. You will be given a temporary dental implant to use for the next few months, depending on the doctor's instructions, while you go through the recovery period from surgery.

3

Post surgery and next steps

After your surgery, our specialist will give you specific instructions to follow during your healing period as osseointegration is completed. Rest and a light diet are recommended for the first few weeks, and your next visit will be scheduled at the doctor's discretion to complete the treatment.

Second Trip: Restorative Phase:

1

Healing assessment

During the last four to six months of healing, the osseointegration of your implants should be complete, our specialist will determine this and whether you are ready to complete the restoration at this appointment or you need to come back the next day.

2

The restoration

This is a seamless procedure, as our specialist will prepare your gums for attachment to your final denture according to your specific treatment.

3

Test, rest and smile!

After your denture is cemented in place, your prosthodontist will check to see if you need any further adjustments and if you can talk, smile and bite comfortably. If all is well, you can enjoy the rest of your vacation!
